Jungle Bay Resort and Spa rises from a seaside cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The resort is comprised of 35 rustic elegant cottages with private outdoor showers suspended on wooden posts amidst jungle fauna with the ever-present sound of the ocean surf. The visitor center is home to two yoga studios and recreation center. The ocean-side deck and beach bar cascades down the side of a mountain with a wooden staircase and hidden boardwalk. The outdoor pool is designed from volcanic stone and is surrounded by cushioned lounge chairs. Ginger Lily Cottage is only $55USD for 1 to 2 people, and only $11USD for each additional. Weekly rates are also available, starting at $330USD for a 1 week stay, and getting cheaper each additional week stayed. The spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage has a wrap-around balcony overlooking ocean and mountain that can be accessed from both bedrooms and the lounge area. The clean and well appointed kitchen has both a stove and a microwave oven, and the guest can pre-reserve to find it stocked with local fresh fruits and vegetables and anything else requested upon arrival. Hiking guides, transport, and laundry can also be reserved. The ocean (and a wild black sand beach) is only 10 minutes away!
